VERDICT
Original fiction, later playable adaptations
The important distinction is not “fake or real” as a single yes/no. The original Verity story was a produced Minecraft horror series. Later projects turned the concept into downloadable Java and Bedrock experiences.
What the original videos represent
ThatMob’s series presents Verity as a yellow AI helper whose behavior becomes increasingly unsettling. It belongs to scripted horror / ARG storytelling, so scenes should not be treated as proof that an identical public mod existed at upload time.
What is playable now
| Project | Evidence on listing | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Verity JE | Project says it was created with explicit permission from ThatMob | Separate Java adaptation |
| PnTMC Bedrock add-on | Credits ThatMob and lists PnTMC as developer | Community Bedrock project |

How to spot a misleading download
- It claims to be the exact secret file from the original video without evidence.
- It removes the author, project ID and supported Minecraft version.
- It mixes Java, Bedrock and mobile terminology to attract every search.
- It asks you to run an executable, disable security or complete unrelated offers.
- It mirrors an All Rights Reserved project without the author’s stated permission.
